BOONSBORO -- Rose Linda Asper, 58, of 17900 Meade Court, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at her home.Hagerstown, Maryland

Born Nov. 2, 1943, in Shelbyville, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Edgar P. and Elsie L. Crisp Wells. She was employed by Maryland National Bank, and First National Bank of Maryland. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Edward E. Asper; a daughter, Crystal D. Wright of Boonsboro; two sons, Edward E. Asper Jr. of Boonsboro, and Robert A. Asper of Hagerstown; a sister, Lynette Gibson of Columbus, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce K. Wayne.
Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. William R. Burgett will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 17906 Garden Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21740; or Hospice of Washington County, 101 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
