OBITUARY
----------
DIED CRAWFORD -- On Friday night at 12 o'clock, of lung fever, Mr. Wm. Crawford, of Addison
township. Funeral occurred Monday morning at 10 o'clock, at St. Vincent's Catholic church. The
subject of this sketch was born in Jefferson county, Indiana March 9, 1839. He was united in marriage
to Miss Cecelia Wheeler November 27, 1878. His only child preceded him to the better world. He
was a kind husband, indulgent father, true friend, obliging neighbor, loyal citizen, honest in his dealings,
with his fellow-man and remarkably uniform in his disposition. In fact, the writer can but fail to do his
noble character justice.
