          Annie M., wife of Mr. Charles Bernhamer  died at their residence near the distillery at 5 o’clock a.m. Monday of lung fever, aged 62 years and 2 weeks.  She was buried Tuesday afternoon.  Service at the Christian German church in this city by Rev. G. G. Winter, at two o’clock. Interment at the City cemetery.  D. B. Wilson, funeral director.

          DIED - BERNHAMER on the 23rd day of February, 1880, at her residence in Prescott, this county,  Mrs. Anna Maria Bernhamer, of dropsy, in the 68th year of her age.
          Mrs. Bernhamer was born in Burken, Nassau, Germany, August 1, 1822.  During the year of 1846 she came to the United States and lived in Indianapolis for a number of years.  In the year 1848 she was married to  Charles Bernhamer, and moved from the Capital to a farm near Prescott in 1871, where she lived until her death.  Seven children were born to her, all of whom are living except a daughter named  Louisa Fredrika, who died in February, 1874.  Of the remaining six, three are married.  Mrs. Bernhamer was a member of the German Reformed Church and a devoted Christian wife and mother.  She will be buried in the cemetery in this city today.  Services at her late residence by Rev. M. G. I. Stera, of Indianapolis.

MINOR  MENTION.
----------
          Mrs. Bernhamer,  who died at Prescott on Monday night last, was the mother of  Mr. W. F. A. Bernhamer,  a well-known lawyer of Indianapolis, and reading clerk of the last Indiana House of Representatives.
