          Mrs. Mariah Blackledge died at her home one and a half miles north of town at 4 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, aged eighty-three years.  She leaves six children, two sons and four daughters.  Funeral services were held at the house at 10 o'clock a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, Rev. John Reece officiating.  Interment in the Marion cemetery.  Funeral in charge of Edwards & Hageman.
