          Mrs. Horton  received word last Saturday of the death of her mother-in-law,  Mrs. Bradford,  of Haughville.  She was very old.  The remains were brought to Second Mt. Pleasant for burial.

          Mrs. Bradford,  a former resident of Shelby county, near Bengal, died Saturday at Indianapolis.  The remains were brought to this county for burial, funeral services taking place Sunday afternoon at Second Mt. Pleasant, conducted by Rev. P. O. Duncan.  Deceased was the mother of  William Bradford  of Needham, and of  Mrs. Alex Cutsinger.
Notes:  Date of birth, 1826.  Date of death, 9 Feb 1899 – Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.  Birth name,  Mary Archibald.
