MRS. BROCK, 81, DIES IN WALDRON
Mother of Mrs. Clarence Lowe Succumbs

Mrs. Susan M. Brock, a former resident
of Anderson, died at 4:10 a.m. today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clarence
Lowe, with whom she resided in Waldron. She had been ill for several
months and death was due to a complication of diseases.Tuesday April 17, 1945

Mrs. Brock would have observed her 82nd birthday Thursday. She was born in April 19, 1863, in Hancock county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Jackson. On April 4, 1886, she was married to Homer Brock, who preceded her in death. Surviving with the daughter at whose home she died are a son, Walter L. Brock, of Bellefountaine, O., a brother, Andrew Jackson, of Rushville, and a sister, Mrs. Effie Ebbert, of Markleville.
Mrs. Brock was a member of the Baptist Church at Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the home of the daughter in Waldron with Rev. Chester W. Scott officiating. Burial will be made in East Maplewood cemetery in Anderson in charge of D. E. Carmony, of St. Paul. Friends may call at the Lowe home after 7:30 o'clock this evening.
