Mr. Broxterman, 70, of Charlotte, died peacefully at home with his wife and children at his side on Monday, April 16th, 2012 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Jack taught us the value of love of family, patient endurance through his illness, devotion to church and faithfulness to God. He was born on November 20, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John W. Broxterman and Dorothy Branigan Broxterman. He graduated from Villa Madonna College and obtained a Master's of Education from Xavier University. Jack taught at LaSalle High School where he coached baseball and football. In 1985, he moved to Charlotte, NC with the Miami Rubber Company and later owned Austin Auto Fabrics.           He is survived by his wife, Sharon Broxterman, his son, John Barry Broxterman and his wife, Debbie, his daughter, Molly Katherine Partyka and her husband, Bryan and his daughter, Corry Elizabeth Broxterman and his grandchildren, Madelyn Partyka, Zachary and Tyler Broxterman. He also leaves behind his brothers, Kevin and Bruce Broxterman.           The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 6 pm at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on Thursday, April 19th. A Mass celebrating Jack's life will immediately follow the visitation at 6:30 pm at the Church with Reverend Frank O'Rourke and Monsignor Richard Bellow as celebrants.           In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Gabriel Catholic School or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Charlotte.
