Born March 23, 1946, Lansing, Mich., to Milton and Charlotte (Howe) Carroll.
Married John M. Cawein on April 3, 1965; he survives.
Other survivors include her children, Scott Cawein of Shelbyville and Vickie Cawein of Clermont, Fla.; sister, Barbara Dukes (husband, K. S.) of Lake City, Fla.; brother, Stuart Carroll (wife, Marge) of Matthews, N.C.; and grandchildren, Allen Cawein and Matt Cawein, both of Shelbyville.
Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patty Blair.
Lived in this area for 23 years. Previously had lived in Michigan and Florida.
Employed in the banking industry for 22 years and was the client services associate at KeyBank of Shelbyville.
Graduated from Clearwater High School in Florida.
Member of Zion United Church of Christ.
Enjoyed going to the Indy 500 racetrack and spending time with her grandsons.
Traveled with her husband for 22 years while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Funeral services at Zion United Church of Christ, 7025 E. 100N, with the Rev. Dr. Mary Lundgren officiating.
