          Walter Coats,  son of  John O. Coats,  deceased, and  Mrs. Cornelia Coats, who now resides on East Washington street, died at a few minutes before 8 o'clock on Thursday of lung trouble.  He was a bright young boy in the sixteenth year of his age, and had a host of friends.  He will be remembered by many of the patrons of this paper, as he formerly delivered the  Daily Republican, and was always honest, trustworthy and a special favorite of all who knew him.
