Cook
George A. Cook, age 86, of Batesville, died at his home there Friday night at 9 o'clock. His death was caused by paralysis. Mr. Cook was known here having visited here a number of times with his daughter, Mrs. Valentine Hey. A son, Joe Cook, now of Corning, N.Y., also formerly lived in Shelbyville. Three other children also survive. James and Marian Cook, who live at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Soller, in this city, are grandchildren of Mr. Cook. The Shelbyville DemocratWord has been received in this county of the death of Frank Cook, born and reared in Marion township and widely known in this vicinity. The death occured in Macon county, Missouri, this week. He has many friends who will greatly regret to learn of his death.

Mr. Cook was the son of Samuel and Rebecca Cook. He was eighty-two years old at the time of death. He is survived by three brothers, Lewis, George, and William Cook, all of Macon county, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Boren, of Adams and Mrs. Frank Arnold, of Marion township.
