MRS. CORKINS DIES AT 87

Mrs. Fannie L. Corkins, 87, New Palestine, died Monday.
Member of the New Palestine Christian Church; New Palestine Chapter, Order of Eastern Star; Mary Mott Green Chapter, DAR.
Born in Shelby County, June 25, 1884, d/o John R. and Elizabeth (Thompson) Bassett. First married
Otto L. Coyle, preceded in death. Later was married Samuel Corkins, died Feb, 1965.
Surviving: three step-children, Blaine Corkins, Mrs. Dorothy Westlake, Mrs. Mary Evelyn Mills;
sister, Mrs. Harry Logan.
Burial Forest Hill Cemetery.

John Corkin, 83, died in an ambulance outside a Shelbyville hospital
late today of injuries suffered when he was struck by an automobile on
U. S. Road 52, three miles west of his home at Morristown, Ind.
