Mrs. Sarah Cosler,  daughter of  Adam  and  Polly McFadden  was born in Lyconning[sic] County, Penn., in the year 1779 and was at the time of her death in the 79, year of her age.
Her father with the family, moved to Ohio in 1812 and from thence to this State and county in 1825.

Mrs. Cosler had been a consistent member of the M. E. Church ever since her childhood and had lead a consistent christian life.  She often expressed herself willing to abide the Master's will and that if it was His will to call her hence she was ready to go.
Her last illness was brief, her death seemed to be the result of a general giving away of nature.  Her death occurred the 17, of September.  Funeral on the 18th, conducted by Rev. Curtiss, after which the body was taken to Boggstown for burial.
