Carpenter foreman, Indianapolis Stockyards.
Member Fountaintown Methodist Church.
Fountaintown native. Indianapolis resident for past 26 years.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Helen McPherson of North
Vernon, Mrs. Lillian Thralls and Mrs. Florence Case
both of Lafayette; sister Mrs. Hazel Woodward of
Indianapolis.
Burial: Fountaintown cemetery.

Lawson B. Craycraft died at the home of his nephew, Clarence Craycraft, near Fountaintown, at three o'clock yesterday afternoon. Death was due to Bright's disease and bronchial troubles. Mr. Craycraft leaves no brothers or sisters, the only surviving relatives being his nephew, Clarence and his niece, Margaret Craycraft. Mr. Craycraft lived alone up until a few months before his death. The funeral services will be held in Fountaintown Thursday morning, Rev. C. C. McCullough, of Morristown, officiating. Undertakers Max Herrlich & Son will have charge and burial will be in the Fountaintown cemetery. There will be motor conveyances.

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah J.
Craycroft, 96 years old, was held yesterday afternoon at the hoe of Mr.
and Mrs. W. V. Reece, 108 colescott[sic] street, the Rev. G. Hensen
officiating. Burial took place in Forest Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Sarah J. Craycraft Passes Away this

at Home of Her Daughter, Mrs. W. G. VanWay

Mrs. Sarah J.
Craycroft, widow of Thomas J. Craycroft, who died several years
ago, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. G. Van Way, three miles
south of this city, at 2:50 o'clock, age 96 years, 5 months and 7 days.
Beside the daughter, Mrs. VanWay, there are three grandchildren, Mrs. W. V.
Reece, Harry and William Van Way, all of this
city. Mrs. Craycroft, was born in Nicholas county, Kentucky, and came to
Shelbyville in1858. Since 1895, she has resided with her daughter, Mrs.
Van Way. She has been an invlaid, as the result of a fall, for 27 years
and for the last 5 years was confined to her room. While her bodily
afflications have been very severe she was never known to murmer or complain of
her lot. The funeral service will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.
V. Reece at 108 Colescott street at 1 p.m. Sunday, conducted by Rev. G. Jensen,
of the West street church. The interment will be in Forest Hilll cemetery
in charge of Edwards & Hageman.
