EBERT  CRUM  DIES  SUDDENLY

Death Occurs At Home Of Mrs. Julia John,
In Union Township, Today

RESULT  OF  HEART  DISEASE
----------
           Ebert Cornelius Crum, 67 years old, died at nine o’clock today at the home of  Mrs. Julia John, in Union township, near Manilla, where he had lived for the past twelve years.  His death came suddenly, although he had been afflicted with heart disease for several weeks.
           Before moving to the home where his death occurred, Mr. Crum had lived near Fairland, where he had many friends.  His wife preceded him in death.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Hicks, of Indianapolis, and  Mrs. Edna Chalker, of Atlanta Georgia.  He also leaves a step-brother, John Parsons, of Gwynneville, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Bush, of Fairland
           Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.  They are in charge of Carmony Brothers of Manilla.

CRUM  FUNERAL  TODAY

           Funeral services for  Ebert C. Crum, of Union township, whose death occurred Saturday morning, were held this afternoon, at the Brandywine Methodist Episcopal church, with the Rev. Ryland officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery in charge of Carmony Brothers.

ROBERT  R. CRUM  DEAD

Passed Away at Home in Fairland Early Tuesday Morning
----------
           Ralph J. Edwards was called to Fairland early Tuesday morning to care for the body of  Robert R. Crum, who died at his home there at five o’clock.  Mr. Crum was born near London 61 years ago.  Recently he has lived in Fairland.  He is survived by his wife and one son, Ossie Crum, who lives in Indianapolis.  He has two brothers, Will  and  Ebert Crum and a sister, Mrs. Anna Bush. Mr. Crum was a good citizen in every respect.  He was a member of the M. E. church for years and he was also a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Red Men lodges of London.
           Funeral services will be held in the Fairland M. E. church Thursday morning at 10:30 o’clock, the Rev. M. E. Abel officiating.  Interment will be in the Fairland cemetery.

          J. W. Crum, formerly one of the most prominent residents of Moral township, died at his home in Brown county Wednesday morning.  Mr. Crum was sixty-one years of age and is survived by a widow and a number of children.  He moved to Brown county several years ago.

          Mrs. Lida A. Crum, of Moral township, wife of  Wes Crum, died last evening at 4 o'clock of brain trouble, aged thirty-four years.  The deceased was a daughter of  Mr. Tilghman A. Graham, and besides her husband two children are left to mourn her untimely death.  She was a lady of many endearing qualities and during her residence in this city made many friends.  The husband and other relatives have the sympathy of a large number of friends in their sorrow.  The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 o'clock the Rev. Mr. Burton officiating.  The burial will take place at the London graveyard by D. B. Wilson funeral director.

BRANDYWINE.

          Laura, wife of William Crum and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cartwright, died at the home of her parents Friday morning of consumption.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Sedgwick, at Brandywine, Saturday, July 14th.  Deceased leaves a husband and three little children, who have the sympathy of the entire community.

          Mrs. William Crum died at her home one mile north of Fairland, on Friday morning last, of consumption.  She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her sad loss.

          Columbus Crum  died Friday of the injuries he received in his saw mill at London last Tuesday.  The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at  Joel Crum’s residence in Moral township.
