Donald David Dismore

Donald David "DIZ" Dismore, 64 of Indianapolis passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 21, 1947, the son of the late David Austin and Helen (Andrew) Dismore September 21, 1947.
He grew up in Greenfield and attended Greenfield High School and attended Purdue University on a full football scholarship in 1965. He was named the parade all American football player his Jr. and Senior year. He was the only player to receive this honor from Greenfield High School and was an all conference high school football player for four years an all state football player for two years. He competed in the state wrestling in 1965 and he was inducted into the Greenfield Central High School Athletic Hall of Fame in February of 2005.
He retired from the Iron workers Local # 22 in 1987; he was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelbyville. The most important things in Donald's life was loving his family, friends and having fun.
Survivors include his loving children, Kimberly Wilkins of Fountaintown and Alisha Dismore of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Tim Dismore, Keri Batten, Matthew Yocum, Hannah Jane Wilkins, Nathan Shelton and Devin Wheeler, great-grandchildren, Kaylan, Carleigh Dismore and David Alomar, sisters, Sharon Lively of Kokomo, Linda Gressette of Indianapolis and Meridth (Larry) Brokering of Shelbyville, several beloved nieces, nephews along with great- nieces and nephews.
Donald had many loyal friends that were good to him though the years and he cherished them all.

Funeral Wednesday for Resident
of Fountaintown Community

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Dismore, widow of the late William Dismore, 67 years old, died at her home near Fountaintown, Monday night at 6:45 o'clock. Death was caused by pneumonia. Mrs. Dismore's husband died in January of this year. She was a member of the Sugar Creek Christian church. Survivors are one son, Clarence; three daughters, Mrs. May Vetters, Mrs. Alta Caudwell and Mrs. Ruby Schoots, all of near Greenfield; one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Kate Maus, of Indianapolis, and Edward and Alvin Hauk, of Morristown, and several grand-children. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sugar Creek Christian church with the Rev. Ozzro Kimmerley officiating. Burial will be in the Clark cemetery at Greenfield with L.V. Hauk, funeral director, in charge.
