The Shelbyville RepublicanElizabeth Doughty died at her residence in Boggstown Thursday evening, March 5, at 7:30 o’clock, of gall stones, age sixty-seven years, four months and three days . She leaves an only daughter, Mrs. Jennie Wright, with whom she has lived for the last twenty years. A granddaughter, Mrs. Burk Gibson, of Indianapolis, two sisters and one brother and many other relatives survive her. Mrs. Doughty was born in Wales, November 2, 1841 and came to this country in 1855. She has resided in Marion and Shelby counties ever since. Her funeral services will be held at her late home Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m., Rev. Bartelmeyer, of Acton, officiating. Interment in the Boggstown cemetery, Stewart & Fix in charge.

She leaves to mourn her loss an only daughter, Mrs. Jennie Wright, with whom she has made her home for the last twenty years; a granddaughter, Mrs. Burk Gibbons, of Indianapolis; two sisters and one brother, besides several other relatives.
Mrs. Doughty was born in Wales, November 2, 1841, and came to this country in 1855. She has resided in either Marion or Shelby county ever since she has been in the country. Her funeral will be held at the home of her daughter in Boggstown, March 8, at 2 p.m., the Rev. Mr. Bartelmeyer, of Action, officiating. Interment will take place in the Boggstown cemetery. Stewart & Fix in charge.
