Mrs. Lucinda Douthitt.
----------
          Mrs. Lucinda Douthitt,  one of the most prominent and aged residents of the northern part of the county, died at the home of her son,  Frank Douthitt,  south of Fountaintown, this morning at eight o'clock of tuberculosis.  Mrs. Douthitt had been ill with the disease for several months.  She was seventy-nine years of age at the time of her death.  She was a member of the Fountaintown M. E. church and had been an active worker in the church while in good health.  Mrs. Douthitt had spent the greater part of her life in this county, but had visited her daughter in Missouri for a few months.
          She is survived by one son, Frank, with whom she was living, and one daughter,  Mrs. Dora Steal,  of Missouri, and one sister,  Mrs. Mary Showalter,  of near Freeport.
          The cortege will leave the house Friday morning at 9:30.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Brandywine M. E. church, and interment will be made in the Brandywine cemetery.

Ira  Douthitt  Dies  Fom  Injuries
Received  a  Few  Weeks  Ago.

          Ira Douthitt,  the eight-year-old son of  John Douthitt,  who resides on a farm in Orange township, Rush county, was kicked on the head by a horse five or six weeks ago, while at work in the barn on the place, the result being that his skull was slightly caved in.  An operation was performed on the boy and the wound had partly healed over when it was found necessary to perform another operation a day or so ago.  The boy never recovered from this last operation and died at his home some time last night.
          The funeral service will be conducted in the Christian church in Moscow, Thursday, at 2 o'clock p.m., the Rev. Bartlett officiating.  Interment will be in the Moscow cemetery.

Funeral of Ira Douthit
----------
          Ira Douthitt  died last Tuesday after five weeks of suffering.  On the fourth of November he received a kick that crushed his skull.  He was the youngest son of  John and Laura Douthitt.  He was born August 11, 1904.  He was a very bright and intelligent little fellow.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bartlett, of Milroy.  Interment in Moscow cemetery.  It was one of the largest funerals that has been here for a number of years.  Mr. and Mrs. Douthitt have the sympathy of the community in their trouble and affliction.
