Karen K. Long Dresel of Clearwater, Fla., died Feb. 20 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. She was 50 and had formerly resided in Southport. She was a daughter of Richard A. Long of Plainfield and the late Donna Miller McComb. Mrs. Dresel was a member of The Harvest Temple Church in Largo, Fla. Additional survivors include her step-mother, Margaret Long of Plainfield; a sister, Glenna Reed; a niece, Kimberly Todd; a great nephew, Bryson Todd, all of Germantown, Tenn.; and a friend, Dan Vitkus of Clearwater.Largo, Florida

Services are 11 a.m. today at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
