John Driscoll, former resident of this city, died at the Foreman Nursing Home near Fountaintown Tuesday night. He was 56 years of age and had been a patient at the nursing home since September.
Survivors include the widow, Helen Driscoll, and a brother, Ray Driscoll.
Further details and funeral arrangements will be announced by the Carmony Funeral Home in this city.

Andrew Jackson “Jack”
Driscoll, 74, passed away at his home in Fairland at 2:30 o’clock this
morning. Paralysis was the cause of death, Mr. Driscoll having suffered three
strokes.
He was born in Kentucky February 14, 1860, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson Driscoll, Sr. The deceased came to this county with his parents when nine
years of age and had resided near Fairland until his death. On May 25, 1887, he
was married to Miss Laura B. Colclazier, who survives. Mr. Driscoll was a
member of the local Pentecostal church.
Besides the widow, he leaves nine children,
James D. Driscoll and Mrs. V.W. Gill, both of Fairland;
Chester, John and Clarence Driscoll, of Shelbyville;
Mrs. B. B. Lynch and Mrs. Annabel Swango, of Rochester, Indiana;
Andrew Jr. and Lelie, both at home; nineteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and one
sister, Mrs. Lucinda Wells of Fairland.
Funeral services will be held at the Fairland Christian Church Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock with the Rev. Arville Owens, pastor of the Vine street M.P. Church officiating. Interment will be on the family lot in the Fairland cemetery in charge of C.F. Fix & Son, funeral directors.
