Kenneth L. Fagel, Sr., 67, Kokomo, died Saturday, October 22, 1994, Kokomo.
Born June 25, 1927 in Rush County to Russell W. and Frankie
H. (Lewis) Fagel.
Married on September 26, 1953 to Elizabeth Pitcher, who preceded him in death on August 27.
District superintendent of PSI Energy Inc.
Served as a special deputy for the Shelby County Sheriff’s department.
Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Belonged to the First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge F&AM 28, York Rite, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2695, American Legion Post 70, Order of the Eastern Star Naamah Chapter 73 and Fraternal Order of Eagles 766, all of
Shelbyville.
Belonged to the Murat Temple, Indianapolis; Kokomo Shrine Club; Moose
Lodge 179, Kokomo; and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors are: four sons, Ronald N. Neeb, Fishers, Kenneth L. Fagel,
Jr. Noblesville, Todd W. Fagel, Dayton, Ohio and Thomas J. Fagel,
Kokomo; a daughter, Mrs. Kenna F. Rawls, Kokomo; nine grandchildren; and
a great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by a daughter.
Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home
with the Rev. Mile Ennis officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Graveside military services conducted by local veterans
organizations.
Memorial contributions: Shriner’s Crippled Children’s
Hospital.

FRED B. FAGEL

Fred B. Fagel, 83, 720 Second St., a retired truck driver, died at 4:30 a.m. today at the Heritage Manor. Mr. Fagel had been in poor health for seven years and in the manor for seven months. He retired in 1963 after working many years as a truck driver for the old Root Transit Co.
He was born September 24, 1898 in Shelby County, the son of John and Nancy Fagel. He married Ellen Pope who died in 1948. They had a son who died in infancy.
On August 30, 1958, Mr. Fagel married Olive Stroup who survives at home. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Griffith and Goldie Cotton of Shelbyville, and three nieces. A sister preceded in death.
He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, the Shelbyville Eagles Lodge, Teamsters Local 135 and the Shelby County Senior Citizens organization.
The Rev. Ron Riggs will conduct a funeral service for Mr. Fagel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Carmony Funeral home here. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Services for Mrs. Deana May Fagle, 45, Waldron, who died unexpectedly Monday at Major Hospital where she had been admitted Friday, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Carmony Funeral Home with the Rev. James Horner officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fagle, a lifelong resident of Shelby and Rush counties, was a member of the St. Paul Christian Church. A daughter of Warren and Florine (Coers) Wagoner, she was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Shelbyville. She was married in 1974 to Meredith Erwin Fagle who survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Wagoner, Manilla; two sons, Darryl Wells and David Wells, Waldron; a daughter, Jane Nolley, Waldron; a sister, Mrs. Fern Harrison, Greenwood; and a brother, John Wagoner, Manilla.

Mrs. Frankie Hazel Fagel, 73, formerly of 268 E. Franklin Street, died
Tuesday at 1:25 p.m. at Major Hospital.
Carmony Funeral Home, with the Rev. W.B. Jenkins officiating.
Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Lved all her life in Shelby County and had been a seamstress
for many years. Retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company in 1961.
Born February 25, 1899, d/o Paris D. and Myrtle (Coyle) Lewis.
Survivors are one son, Kenneth L. Fagel, Kokomo; five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Huldah Westerfield, Butlerville.

Year's Illness Fatal To
Mrs. Ellen Fagel, 47

Ill for the past year, Mrs. Ellen Fagel, Shelby county native, died at her home at 720 Second St., at 3:00 o'clock this morning. She was 47 years of age.
Born in Washington township on May 14, 1901, Mrs. Fagel was the daughter of James and Blanche (Young) Pope. She had resided in this city since her marriage to Fred Fagel on April 2, 1922. She was a member of the Winchester Methodist Church.
SURVIVING with the husband are the mother, Mrs. Pope; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Myer of Acton and Mrs. Dora Schuck, rural route 3, and three brothers Wilbur Pope of near Flat Rock; Gordon of this city and John L. Pope of Acton.
Funeral rites will be held at the Ewing mortuary Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. today. Rev. S. J. Cross will conduct the last rites.

Fred Fagel, Jr., age three days, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fagel, of 927 South Miller street, died this morning at seven o'clock. Short funeral services will be held at the late home Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. Reese officiating. Interment will be made in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery, Charles M. Ewing in charge.
