"JACOB FAVORS PASSES AWAY

"Former St. Paul Man Dies
In Hospital at Madison, Ind.

"Jacob Robert Favors, 69 years of age, passed away at the hospital in Madison Friday morning at 3:55 o'clock.
"He was born July 22, 1865, in St. Paul, Indiana, where he spent his entire life. In 1891 he married Miss Mary Alice Bales, of Boggstown, who died December 1905. On April 5, 1924, he was married to May Robbins, of Greensburg. One of the two children born to this union survive. Mr. Favors was a contractor and was also engaged in the stone quarry business.
"Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Carl Brooks, of Oxford, Ohio, Mrs. Alfred Richey, Camden, New Jersey, Mrs. Robert Cuskaden, Shelbyville, Mrs. Paul Craig, St. Paul and
Mrs. Howard Garrett, also of St. Paul; and one son, Emmet Favors, of Indianapolis, by the
first marriage. Another son, Gene Favors, of Seymour, also survives with two sisters,
Mrs. William Eck and Mrs. Lizza Moulder, both of Shelbyville; two brothers, William Favors, of
Kent, Ohio, and Francis Favors, of St. Paul; twenty-two grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
"Funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Howard Garrett, in St. Paul,
Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The burial will be in the Paul Hill cemetery in charge of C.L.
Wilson, funeral director."
