FERGUSON SERVICES CONDUCTED FRIDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Ferguson were conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Vandivier funeral home. The Rev. Golden A. Smith, of Grace Methodist church, was in charge.
Burial followed in Greenlawn cemetery.
The casket was carried by George McClain, Glenn Beeson, George Beeson, Harold Patterson, Bice Sconce and Chelsea Dinn.
Mrs. Ferguson, who was the sister of Mrs. Marshall Barnard and Mrs. Curtis Wiesman of Franklin, Mrs. Lorin D. Hester of Butte, Montana, and Orville M. Taylor, died in her sleep Tuesday morning at the home of Mrs. Harrison Adams, a patient, whom she was nursing.
She had resided in Edinburg and Franklin for the past 10 years.
Note: Nephew, Paul Taylor, is living in Shelbyville.

Nurse Dies While Caring For Patient

Mrs. Gertrude Ferguson Dies At Adams Home

Mrs. Gertrude Ferguson died in her sleep Tuesday morning at 3 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Harrison Admas, a patient whom she was nursing.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Golden A. Smith at the Vandivier funeral home Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be made in Greenlawn cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 o'clock, and are invited to attend the services.
Mrs. Ferguson was born in Memphis, Clark county, Indiana. She resided in Zanesville, Ohio, almost 20 years, coming to Edinburg and Franklin 10 years ago.
She leaves three sisters, Mrs. Marshall Barnard and Mrs. Curtis Wiesman, of Franklin, and Mrs. Lorin D. Hester, of Butte, Montana; one brother, Orville M. Taylor, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Note: One brother, Virgil Emmett Taylor of Shelbyville, died in 1938.
