DIED SUDDENLY AT
INDIANAPOLIS HOME

Mrs. Carrie Hemphill Fightmaster, wife of
William Fightmaster, and well known in Shelbyville and Shelby county, where she was born and reared, died Monday at her home 2518 north Harding street, Indianapolis. Her death was suddenly and it was due to heart failure.
She was born in Shelby county fifty-eight years ago and resided in the county and in Shelbyville until about ten years ago when the family moved to Indianapolis. She had always maintained her associations with friends here and frequently visited in this city. Her death is a great shock to the family and to the many friends.
Mrs. Fightmaster was the wife of Samuel Hemphill, who died here a number of years ago. She was married to Mr. Fightmaster in this city and the husband survives. She also leaves one daughter, Mrs. Edna Carlstead and one son, Norval Hemphill.
Funeral services will be held at ten-thirty o’clock Wednesday morning at the Riverside M.E. Church in Indianapolis. There will also be a short service in the afternoon at the Second Mt. Pleasant church, in Shelby county and burial will be in the church cemetery there.
