PETER W. FULP
DIES AT HOME

Rites Friday Morning for
Aged Resident of County
----------
          Peter W. Fulp,  resident of Shelby county since 1868, died at his home in Shelby township this morning following a brief illness.  He was 87 years of age.  Born in North Carolina on June 11, 1864, Mr. Fulp was the son of  John and  Jane (Hester) Fulp.  His wife and son preceded him in death and there are no immediate survivors.
          Funeral services will be held at the Murphy Mortuary Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. C.M. Hager officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

Fulp Services To Be Friday

          Additional survivors of  Claude J. Fulp,  51, local carpenter and mechanic who died at the Major hospital Tuesday night, were reported to  The News  today.
          They are two uncles,  Floyd and  Ernest Pope  of Washington township, and three aunts,  Ida Moore  of Boggstown and  Leona Campbell  and  Kate Yeager,  both of Hope.  Several cousins also survive.
          Mr. Fulp, who resided at 120 S. Hamilton St., died after a week's illness.  Funeral services will be held at the Ewing mortuary Friday at 2:00 p.m. and burial will be in Lewis Creek cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary.

Claude J. Fulp Dies in Hospital
----------
          Claude J. Fulp,  local carpenter and mechanic, died at the W. S. Major hospital Tuesday night at 9:05 o'clock after a week's illness.  He had been confined to the hospital for three days.  Mr. Fulp, who resided at 120 S. Hamilton St., had resided in this city since 1918.  He was a member of the local Moose Lodge and of the Lewis Creek Baptist Church.
          HE  WAS  BORN  at Waldron on October 2, 1897, the son of  Peter W. and  Alice (Pope) Fulp.  In 1927 he was married to  Hazel I. Conrad  who preceded him in death in May, 1948.
          He is survived by his father, who resides in Shelby county, and two nieces  Mrs. Edith Williams  of Shelbyville and  Mrs. John Gosch  of the Boggstown Road.
          Funeral services will be held at the Ewing mortuary Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clarence Hager officiating.  Burial will be made in the Lewis Creek cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Thursday.

          Funeral services were held today for  Mrs. Hazel Irene Fulp,  lifelong resident of the county.  Besides other survivors listed in the report of Mrs. Fulp's death [see below], she is survived by a niece,  Mrs. Nellie Gosch,  and a grand-niece,  Mrs. Adrian Parker of Indianapolis.

Mrs. Fulp Dies
At Home Here

          Mrs. Hazel Irene Fulp,  54, lifelong resident of Shelbyville, died at 8:35 a.m. today at her home at the west edge of the city following an illness of two weeks.  Death was caused by complications.  Born in Shelbyville April 17, 1894, Mrs. Fulp was a daughter of  Frederick W. and  Martha I. (Thompson) Conrad.  She was married to  Claude Fulp  at Greenfield in February of 1927 and he survives along with two sisters,  Mrs. Albert Copple  of this city and  Mrs. Jessie Simpson  of Indianapolis, and a brother, Edward Conrad of this city.  Also surviving is a niece,  Miss Edith Williams,  who made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Fulp.
          Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Ewing mortuary with Rev. Alonzo Hamilton officiating.  Burial will be in the Lewis Creek Baptist church cemetery.  Friends may call at the Ewing mortuary any time after 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

LIFE   LONG   RESIDENT
DIED   FRIDAY   NIGHT

          Mrs. Alice Fulp, wife of  Peter Fulp,  died at her home near the Mt. Pisgah church at six-thirty o'clock Friday evening as the result of a long illness caused from a complication of diseases.  The news of her death will be a decided shock to her many friends in this county.
          Funeral services will be conducted from the Trinity M.E. church in this city at two o'clock Monday afternoon, the Rev. Josephine Campbell, pastor of the church, officiating.  Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery in charge of Charles M. Ewing, funeral director.
          Mrs. Fulp had been a lifelong resident of the county.  She was born in Washington township on April 7, 1869, and was at the time of death, fifty-nine years and nine months old.  She was the daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. David Pope.
          At an early age she married Mr. Fulp, who survives to mourn her death, with one son,  Claude Fulp,  of this city.  She leaves, also, six sisters and five brothers.  The sisters are  Mrs. Elizabeth Knowlton,  of Columbus;  Mrs. Leone Campbell,  of Hope;  Mrs. Ida Moore,  Mrs. Loren Glackman,  Mrs. Kate Yeager,  all of Shelby county, and  Mrs. Del Limpus,  of Oklahoma.  James,  Clarence,  Alvin,  Ernest  and  Floyd Pope,  all of this county, are the surviving brothers.
          She was a devoted member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist church.
