James M. Harter, aged 47 years, passed away Sunday at his home in Greenfield, of pneumonia. Mr. Harter formerly resided on a farm north of Morristown and moved to Greenfield last fall in order that his children could have the advantage of the city schools. The family has been sorely afflicted during the past few weeks, the parents and three children suffering with measles. Pneumonia developed and Mr. Harter's condition suddenly grew critical. Mr. Harter was a member of the Morristown tribe of Red Men and was a highly respected citizen. Short funeral services were held at nine o'clock this morning in Greenfield and interment took place in the Walnut Ridge cemetery. Owing to her critical condition, Mrs. Harter has not been informed of the death of her husband.
