BURIAL  IN  FOREST  HILL

          Funeral services for  Mrs. Virchious Ellen Heaton, age fifty-three, wife of  Marshall L. Heaton, of Manilla, who died Tuesday morning, will be held Thursday afternoon at one-thirty o'clock at the Christian church, in Manilla. The Rev. W. B. Bartel, of New Albany, will officiate. Burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery. Carmony Brothers in charge.
          Mrs. Heaton died after a short illness caused by blood poisoning. She had been visiting in Cleveland, and when she returned home one week ago was in good health. She was a member of the Christian church at Manilla, and had lived all of her life in the Manilla community. Her husband operates a grocery store at Manilla.
          Besides the husband she is survived on one son, Howard Heaton, of Terre Haute; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Robins, of near Westport; three brothers, Will Stiers, of Indianapolis' Wilbur Stiers, of Long Beach, California, and  M. M. Stiers, of Indianapolis; and three sisters,  Mrs. F. R. Hall, of Breckinridge, Mo.,  Mrs. Maggie Kirkpatrick of Osawatomie, Mo., and  Mrs. Dave Wagoner, of Shelbyville.  Two grand-children also survive.
