Lucille Hirschauer, 88, Shelbyville, [IN] died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at her home.
Born Nov. 28, 1914, Shelby County, [IN] d/o William E. and Lula Mae (Perry)
Stader. Married Victor W. Hirschauer, May 29, 1937, and he preceded her in death, Mach 11, 1992.
Survivors: 3 daughters, Janet Thornsbury (husband, Aaron), Karen Stieneker (husband,
John) and Bonnie Moss (husband, Stephen), all of Shelbyville, [IN]; 2 sons,
Dennis Hirschauer (wife, Julie) and Tim Hirschauer (husband,
Louella), both of Shelbyville, [IN] ; 3 sisters, Helen Kuhn
of Shipshewana,[IN], Faye Wilson of Shelbyville,[IN] and
Ruth Queen of California; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Homemaker.
Graduated, 1933 from Shelbyville High School.
Member of Rebekkah Lodge, Shelbyville Firefighter’s Auxiliary and Twenty Toilers Homemaker Club.
Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Former Superintendent of County Infirmary
Suffers Paralytic Stroke

FUNERAL MONDAY MORNING

John A. Hirschauer, 71 years old, died at his home in Shelby township at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after having suffered a number of paralytic strokes.
Mr. Hirschauer served as superintendent of the Shelby county infirmary for two terms, the first of these being during the years 1906 and 1907 and the second in 1910 and 1911.
He was the son of Peter and Margaret Hirschauer, and was born January 13, 1858. His marriage to Miss Mary Higgins took place October 29, 1879. The widow and three sons, Joseph, Gus and Edward Hirschauer, all of this city, survive. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Mary Worland, of Louisville, Kentucky; Mrs. John Newman and Mrs. E. D. Amos, of Shelbyville, and a brother, Will Hirschauer, of Oxford, Ohio.
Twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Mr. Hirschauer was a member of the Knights of St. John and of St. Joseph Catholic church.
The funeral service will be held at nine o'clock Monday morning at St. Joseph Catholic church, Rev. John Rager officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph cemetery. Ralph J. Edwards is the funeral director in charge.

Margaret, wife of Peter Hersebauer, died at their residence in Shelby township, at 1 o'clock Tuesday morning, aged 53 years. Was buried at the St. Joseph cemetery Thursday. Services at 9 o'clock a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church by Rev. Father Kaelin. D. B. Wilson funeral director.

John Hirschauer died Wednesday at 10 o'clock. He will be buried Friday morning at the St. Vincent graveyard. Services will be held at the Catholic Church at 9 o'clock.
