MRS. HOLLAND

Mrs. Effie Holland, 71, lifelong resident of the St. Paul community, died at the Greensburg Memorial Hospital Sunday at 6:20 a.m. from a complication of diseases.
Mrs. Holland, whose home was near St. Omer, had been ill for five years and her condition had been serious since July 10.
The daughter of Benjamin and Cornelia (Shires) Pugh, she was born at St. Paul on Nobember 8, 1881. Her marriage to Sam Holland took place on December 24, 1898, and he survives with one of two sons born to the union, Norman Holland of St. Paul. A son, Noel died in 1922. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Glenn P. Golden of St. Paul, and a grandson Sammy Holland, St. Paul.
Mrs. Holland was a member of the St. Paul Christian Church and funeral rites, in charge of the Carmony Funeral Home of St. Paul, will be held there Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Robert Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Paull Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and after that at the church.
