A Methodist preacher drowned at Flat Rock

Columbus, Ind., Feb. 9.---Rev. J. G. Hood,
a Methodist Preacher at Flat Rock station,
was drowned last night while attempting to
ford the river which was rising rapidly. The
body has not yet been found.

Columbus, Ind., March 6.---The body of
the Rev. J. G. Hood, of Flat Rock, who has
been missing for several weeks, was found in
the river this morning by his father, one
mile below where he was supposed to have
been drowned.
