Bryan Craig Hopkins, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.
He was born July 7, 1965, in Beech Grove, the son of Billy Dale and Ruth Anne (Thorpe) Hopkins. On September 1, 1995, he married his wife of 28 years, Holley Huber, and she survives.
In addition to Holley, Bryan is survived by his parents of Shelbyville; son, Chazz Huber of Indianapolis; daughters, Rayna Hopkins of Evansville, Jalynne Gorman and husband, Stephen of Carmel, and Nova Hopkins of Indianapolis; sister, Deborah Dent and husband, Wade, of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Jeffrey Hopkins and wife, Tracy, of Fishers; and several nieces and nephews.
Bryan attended Triton Central High School and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Guam. He formerly attended in the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Bryan was a veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard for 15 years. He enjoyed playing the piano, writing his own songs and doing the nunchucks.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, April 19, 2024, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 7 pm, Friday, at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Robb Barlow officiating. Erwin O. Hopkins, 62, Morristown, died suddenly Thursday.
Born in Newman, Illinois, on April 5, 1890, s/o George and
Elizabeth Mitchell Hopkins.
Married Lillies Thompson August 1908; she survives.
Also surviving: daughter, Emma Hopkins, at home; sister, Mrs.
Charles Ogden, Pittsboro; two brothers, Ernest Hopkins,
Roachdale, and Ora Hopkins, Paris, Illinois; several nieces
and nephews.
Member of the Murdock Methodist Church.
Employee of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for 27 years.
E. L. Frazier Funeral Home with Rev. David Shepherd officiating.
Burial: Asbury Cemetery.
