WILBUR HORNIG
DIES IN HOSPITAL

Wilbur Henry Hornig, 60, R.R. 1, Waldron, died Sunday at 11:25 a.m. in Major Hospital, where he had been admitted Thursday. Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Carmony Funeral Home in St. Paul with the Rev. Kenneth Hewell officiating. Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Hornig resided in Shelby County since 1930 and had been a farmer in Liberty Township until ill health forced his retirement three years ago. He was a former employe of the Waldron Canning Co. and Nasby Construciton Co.
Born in Batesville April 10, 1910, Mr. Hornig was the son of Christian and Ellen (Baas) Hornig. He married Goldie Hinkle on May 13, 1933, and she survives with a sister, Mrs. Ellora Peetz, Batesville, and a half-brother, Edward Hornig, Reinbeck, Ia. Two brothers, one sister and two half-sisters preceded in death.
