Dorothy Jean Hunsinger, 83, of Rushville, died Feb. 4, 2010. Born May 14, 1926, she was the daughter of Howard and Roxie (Fishback) Kinnett, both deceased. She married Max Hunsinger July 20, 1947; he preceded her in death Sept. 19, 2000. Mrs. Hunsinger was a 1944 graduate of Milroy High School. She was a member of Milroy Christian Church and Richland Wide Awake Club.
Survivors include cousins, Mary Norwald [sic–Narwold] of Greensburg, Gladys Fussner of Milroy, Ethel Fisher of Connersville and Glenn Wiley of Milroy.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy with the Rev. Ron Simbro officiating. Burial will follow in Milroy's East Brook Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of South-Central Indiana.

Max Hunsinger, 77

Max Hunsinger, 77, Richland, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000 at Heritage House Nursing Home, Greensburg. Born July 6, 1923 in Milroy, he was the son of Pete and Luelle (Jones) Hunsinger. He married Dorothy Kennett and she survives. He was a school bus driver in Rush County for 40 years before retiring and a custom hay baler. He was a member of Andersonville Christian Church and a veteran of WW II serving in the Air Force.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle and Russell Hunsinger and one sister, Garnett Butsch.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, with the Rev. Ron Simbro officiating. Burial is at East Brook Cemetery, Milroy. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Milroy Christian Church.
