Pulmonary complications of less than a
week's duration caused the death of Mrs. Charlotte Huntley at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Carmel of Waldron.
Mrs. Huntley was the widow of O. L. Huntley,
a Civil war veteran. At the time of death she was 82 years of age. Her marriage took place on October
9, 1872 and of the seven children born to them two survive. The deceased had been a resident of Waldron for
the past eleven years and previous to that time had lived in Hanover, Ind.
Besides the daughter at whose home she died, Mrs. Huntley
leaves another daughter Mrs. Mary Dunn, of Evanston, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Alice Strehl of Louisville, Ky., and eleven grandchildren.
She was a member of the Waldron Methodist Episcopal church.
Funeral arrrangements will be announced later by Carmony Brothers.
[She was buried in Hanover, Indiana.]
