Cerebral Hemorrhage Fatal To Life

At Age 58 Years

A cerebral hemorrhage ended the life of
Mrs. Cora Estella Imlay, 58 years old, at her home in St.
Paul at 11:40 p.m. Saturday. She had been in failing health for ten years.
All of her life had been spent
in St. Paul. Mrs. Imlay was born February 8, 1875, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Guess.
Her marriage to John Francis Imlay took place January 1, 1899.
A daughter, Mrs. Lucille Kennedy
of San Benito, Texas, had been at the mother's bedside for the last two weeks.
Surviving besides this
daughter, is a sister, Mrs. Louella Borders, of St. Paul; two brothers,
Lawrence Guess of St. Paul
and Orla Guess of Greensburg. Mrs. Imlay was a member of the St. Paul M.E. Church.
The funeral
service will be held in this church at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Boyd E. Tryon officiating.
Burial will be in the Paull Hill cemetery, in charge of C. L. Wilson. Mrs. Imlay's mother, Mrs. Ellen Guess,
died at St. Paul just three weeks ago.
