          MARY FRANCES KANOUSE, 79, 202 Dagley Court, died at her home, Saturday, Apr. 4, 1992. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Shelbyville. She married Mason Wiley, Nov. 23, 1939, he died in 1956. She married David Kanouse Nov. 7, 1959, he died June 24, 1967. Born Aug. 26, 1912, in Shelby Co., she was [the rest is missing].

KANOUSE  RITES  ARE  ANNOUNCED
------------
          Funeral services for  Millard J. Kanouse, 53, who died unexpectedly Saturday monring at his home at 141 Second St., will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Murphy Mortuary with Rev. E. L. Ford in charge.  Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary at any time.
          Mr. Kanouse was born in Marietta on Feb. 27, 1898, and was the son of  William and Callie (Snapp) Kanouse.  He was married to the former  Leone Endicott  on Dec. 25, 1921, who survives.
          Also surviving are tow daughters,  Mrs. Karlene Moller of Downey, Cal., and  Mrs. Marilyn Stine  of Cleveland, O., and five grandchildren.
          He was a member of the First Christian Church.  American Legion Victory Post No. 70 and the Masonic Lodge.
          Mr. Kanouse had been an employee of the Hub Shoe Store for many years and the store will be closed from 1:45 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

MILLARD  KANOUSE  DIES  AT  HOME
------------
          Millard J. Kanouse, widely known local resident and employee of the Hub Shoe Store for many year, died at his home at 141 Second St. this morning at 10:00 o'clock.  He was 53 years of age.
          Mr. Kanouse had been in failing health for two years but death, caused by a coronary occlusion, was unexpected.  He is survived by the widow and two daughters.
          Further details and funeral arrangements will be announced from the Murphy Mortuary.

FUNERAL  SERVICES
----------
          The funeral of  Morris Kanouse,  the young man who was killed yesterday while driving a truck from Anderson to Indianapolis will be held tomorrow morning at ten o'clock at the Waldron M. E. church of which he was a member, the services to be conducted by the Rev. Eller.  Burial will be made at the Norristown cemetery in charge of Stewart and Fix.
          Mr. Kanouse is survived by a brother,  Niles Kanouse  of this city and six sisters,  Misses Florence  and Reba  of St. Paul,  Miss Lucinda,  of Kokomo,  Mrs. Harry Patterson  of Greensburg;  Mrs. Herbert Kennedy  of Westport and  Mrs. Mack Corwin  of Noble township.  There are three sons,  Loyd,  Morris  and  Meredith  and the widow, all of Waldron.

Morris Kanouse, Driving a
Truck to Indianapolis,
Struck By Train.

DIED  IN  HOSPITAL

          Mrs. Morris Kanouse,  of Waldron, received word today at noon of the death of her husband, who was killed while driving a truck from Anderson to Indianapolis.  The truck was struck by a train.  Mr. Kanouse did not die immediately but was hurried to the Deaconness hospital in Indianapolis, where his death occurred shortly afterward.
          He was 31 years of age.  Besides his wife he leaves three small children, his father,  George Kanouse,  of St. Paul, and several brothers and sisters.  His wife's maiden name was  Scudder  and she had been staying with relatives in Waldron since her husband had accepted employment at Anderson.  In every respect he was a splendid young man and his widow and children have the sympathy of every one in this county on receiving the news of Mr. Kanouse's tragic death.
          Stewart & Fix were called to Indianapolis immediately to prepare the body for burial.  It will reach here tonight and the funeral arrangements will be announced by them on its arrival.

          Mrs. George Kanouse,  living about three miles southwest of St. Paul, died Thursday morning at 7 o'clock.  Mrs. Kanouse was formerly  Miss Niebert.  The funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.

          The funeral of Mrs. George Kanouse, who died Thursday, will be held at the home near St Paul Saturday afternoon at two o'clock.  Mrs. Kanouse leaves a husband and eight children.  She was forty-nine years old.
