Frieda Marie Kehrt, 85, of Indianapolis died Sunday, Augusut 1, 2010.
Born Jan. 18, 1925, to  Harold Paul and Virsel Edna (Weaver) Shipp.
Married  Victor M. Kehrt  in 1946; he preceded her in death, 1994.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicki (David) Witham  and  Debra Faut; sisters,  Margaret Sandefur,  Beulah (Morris) Brown and Phyllis (John) Crooks; brothers,  Dale (Barbara) Shipp  and  Ed (Barbara) Shipp; grandchildren  Lynn (Aric) Baker  and  Chad (Carly) Moore; and great-grandchildren,  Riley Moore  and  Victoria Campbell.
Homemaker and was a farm wife for more than 50 years in Moral Township, Shelby County.
Member of Indian Creek Christian Church.
Hendryx Mortuary, 19 E. Main St. in New Palestine.
Burial in New Palestine Cemetery.
Contributions to the American Heart Association.

          Former Shelbyville resident  Grace E. Kehrt,  75, died at noon Friday at the Sheffield Manor Convalescent Center in Franklin.  Born April 9, 1919, in Rush County, she was the daughter of  Henry C. and  Jennie (Fishback) Tuley.  Mrs. Kehrt farmed with her husband in Shelby County from 1937 until 1974 and worked for Roselyn Bakery in Shelbyville from 1974 until she retired in 1982.  She was a member of Shelby Senior Services and was an officer with Charles Major Manor.  She was a former member of the Vine Street Methodist Church formerly in Shelbyville.
          Survivors include two daughters,  Mrs. Donald (Teresa) Glenn  of Greenwood and  Sandra Woodall  of Shelbyville; one son,  Michael Kehrt  of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters,  Alice Blocher  and  Eva Greenfield  of Shelbyville and  Katherine Riley  of Murray, Ky.; four brothers,  Bill Tuley  of Morgantown and  John,  Charles  and  Robert Tuley  of Shelbyville.
          Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison St. Funeral Home.  Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  The burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

          Gordon W. Kehrt,  74, 529 Second St., died today at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis.  Mr. Kehrt was born Nov. 19, 1918, in Jennings County, to  Ardes and  Vida (Combs) Kehrt.  He was a farmer in Shelby County most of his life and worked for three years as a foreman at Premier Brothers Construction.  He was a member of Eagles Lodge 766 in Shelbyville and a former member of the Sportsman's Club.
          Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Murphy Funeral Home with the Rev. Carol A. Wilson officiating.  Burial will be in the London Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
          Survivors include two daughters,  Sandra Woodall,  Shelbyville, and  Mrs. Michael (Teresa) Glenn,  Greenwood; one son,  Michael Kehrt,  Hawaii; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers,  Edwin Kehrt,  Arlington, and  Victor Kehrt,  New Palestine.  One brother preceded him in death.

          Ardies Kehrt, 70. R.R. 1, Fairland, Moral Township, died Thursday at 1:?? p.m. at the Cramer Nursing Home at Morristown.  He had been in failing health ?? years.  Mr. Kehrt was a retired farmer.  He was a lifelong resident of Shelby County and had lived in Moral Township for ?5 years.
          Born in this county on ?? ??, ????, Mr. Kehrt was the son of  William and Sophia (Kuhn) Kehrt.  On July 24, 1917, he married  Vida M. C?,  who died June 24, 1965.
          Surviving are  Gordon Kehrt,  Shelby Township,  .... [Copy becoming illegible.  Could be  Victor Kehrt,  New Palestine and  Edgar Kehrt,  Arlington.]  ... eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters,  Carl Kehrt,  Shelbyville,  Glen and  Paul Kehrt,  New Palestine,  Mrs. Gladys F???  and  Mrs. Ethyl ??, ?, and  Mrs. Laura M? ??,  Columbus.  Two sons and a daughter preceded in death.
          Services will be at the Ewing Mortuary Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with burial in the London Cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
