EDWARD  KENDALL

Funeral Monday at
Home Near Mt. Auburn

          Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday for  Edward B*. Kendall,  81, life-long Shelby county resident who died at 12:05 p.m. Friday at his home just east of Mt. Auburn on R.R. 1, Edinburg.  Services will be held at the late home, with Rev. Carl Alexander of the Mt. Auburn Christian Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Mt. Auburn cemetery in charge of the Ewing Mortuary.  Friends may call at the home after noon Sunday and are asked to omit flowers.
          Mr. Kendall had been in poor health for some time and seriously ill for two days before his death.  He was born at his home Jan. 9, 1873, the son of  Allen J. and  Adeline (Law) Kendall.  He is sruvived by a sister,  Theodocia Kendall,  of home, two nieces and four nephews.

          Raymond M. Kendall,  60, a resident of Indianapolis for the past 31 years, died at Veterans Hospital there today.
          He was a former Shelbyville resident and was born here.  Mr. Kendall had been retired for six years after operating his own real estate company in Indianapolis.  A Shelbyville High School graduate and veteran of World War II, he is survived by a son,  Thomas R.,  and a sister,  Mrs. Delores Bornhorst,  both of Indianapolis, and one granddaughter.
          Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Flanner and Buchanan Shadeland Mortuary at 5215 N. Shadeland with burial in Second Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.

GRAVESIDE  RITES
HELD  FOR  INFANT
----------
          Graveside rites were conducted this morning at 10:30 o'clock at Forest Hill cemetery for the infant daughter of  Leon and  Rose Ellen Gregory Kendall  of Flat Rock.  The baby died at birth Saturday at 11:00 p.m. at the W.S. Major Hospital.  Rev. Roscoe Wolvington officiated at the rites and burial was in charge of the Ewing Mortuary.
          Surviving with the parents are the grandparents,  Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gregory  of rural route 5, and  Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Kendall  of Washington township, and great-grandparents,  Mr. and Mrs. George Oliver,  Waldron,  Mrs. Rose Gregory  of Waldron, and  Will Yarling  of Moral township.

Body of  Grover Kendall to Arrive
Here Wednesday; Rites to Be at 2 p.m.

          Mrs. Forrest Ferguson,  of 408 Fourth street, received word yesterday of the death of her brother-in-law,  Grover Cleveland Kendall,  former resident of Shelby county.  Mr. Kendall, about fifty-five years of age, died Sunday morning at his home in Bunnell, Fla.
          The body will arrive here Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. accompanied by the widow, the former Hattie Pugh,  of Flat Rock, and a brother,  John Kendall,  of Bunnell.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Flat Rock Methodist church with the Rev. J. L. Flannigan, of Indianapolis, officiating.  Burial will be made in the Flat Rock cemetery to charge of Morris H. Sleeth.
          Surviving with the widow and brother are another brother and three sisters living in Indianapolis.

          Mrs. Rachel Kindle  died at the home of her son,  T. H. Kindle,  in Fairland, at 8:45 Saturday evening, of senility, aged 90 years.  Mr. and Mrs. Kindle and his mother had been living at Fairland only two weeks, having come to that town from Edinburg.  Ralph J. Edwards, of this city, was called to prepare the body for burial and it will be taken Tuesday to Trafalgar, Johnson county, for the funeral services and interment.

          Freda May Kendall,  aged six months, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Kendall,  of Hendricks township, died at their home this morning at 1:30 o'clock.  The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Second Mt. Pleasant church, Rev. Mr. Carter officiating.  Interment in cemetery adjoining the church.  Edwards & Hageman have charge of the remains.

          Mrs. Anna Kendall  died at the home of her daughter,  Mrs. John Thompson,  at No. 64 North Noble st., Friday March the 28, at 12:30 p.m. of lung trouble, age 38 years and 12 days.  Funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. Thompson Sunday March 30, at 2:30 p.m.  The casket will be open Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.  Rev. Mahan officiating, interment in Forest Hill cemetery.  Stewart & Hand have charge.

          DIED - KENDALL - In Jackson township, on the 17th day of July 1878, Thornton Kendall, of heart disease.
          At the time of his death, Mr. Kendall was 71 years of age.  He had been a resident of Shelby county for fifty years, and was one of the oldest residents of Jackson township.  He was the father of  Jefferson Kendall, Esq.
