Lydia E. Kidd, 78, of Rushville, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006.
Born Sept. 27, 1928, in Henry County, d/o John and Ada (Hall)
Moore.
Married Maurice Kidd on Nov. 7, 1946, in Halls Gap, Ky., he
survives.
Other survivors include three sons, John (wife, Sandy) Kidd
of St. Paul, Gary Kidd and David Kidd, both of
Rushville; four daughters, Annie (husband, Jody) Browder,
Ellen (husband, Danny) Reed, Connie Kidd and Mary (husband,
Troy) Dickson, all of Rushville; two brothers, Edwin Moore of
Greensburg and Albert Moore of Rushville; four sisters,
Connie (husband, Virgil) Elder and Lorraine (husband,
Milford) Edwards, both of Rushville, Katherine Lanham of Orlando,
Fla., and Irene Pecina of Emory, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by parents; son, Timothy Kidd; three brothers, John
Moore, Henry Moore and Harvey Moore; one sister,
Laura Bastin; and one grandchild.
Homemaker
Member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.
Enjoyed playing bingo for many years.
Todd Funeral Home, 805 N. Main St. in Rushville.
Funeral services at First Southern Baptist Church, 1159 S. Airport Road in
Rushville, with the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating.
Interment: Spring Hill Cemetery at county roads 640N and 400E in Decatur
County.
