Kirby
The Greensburg Daily News Middletown, Ind., April 12 -- Funeral rites for Benjamin J. Kirby, 78, a retired framer, who died at his home here Tuesday afternoon, were held here Thursday afternoon. The Rev. E. N. Rosier, pastor of the Middletown Methodist church officiated. The Masonic order gave its ritualistic service at the grave in the Miller cemetery.

Rites Held For Benjamin Kirby

Mr. Kirby was born in Decatur county and had engaged in farming for many years. At one time he was a resident of New Castle. He was a member of the Middletown Masonic lodge.
Survivors include the wife, Mary: two sons, Roy, of Granville, Ohio, and Howard, of Kennard; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Ballingall, of Muncie, R. 5; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur, of Marion, Lloyd, of Chanute, Kans., and Will, of Greensburg; and a sister, Mrs. Lennie Gaddis, of Straughn.
