Kocher, 71, Lewisville, died Wednesday at Reid Memorial Hospital, Richmond.
Former Shelby County resident.

Mary Janet (Ackerman)
Kocher, and she survives.
Electrician for Dana Corp., New Castle, before retiring in 1987 after 27 years of employment. Owned K&W Ambulance Service in New Castle from 1984 to 1992.
Lived in New Castle before moving to Lewisville in 1992.
Member of Christ United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 91, F&AM, Order of the Eastern Star, No. 116 and UAW Local No. 370, all in New Castle; Scottish Rite, Indianapolis; and the Farm Bureau, Greensboro.
1945 graduate of Morristown High School. Attended Coyne Electrical School, Chicago, Ill., and the Industrial Electronics School, Cincinnati, Ohio.
