Funeral This Afternoon for
Raymond Kynes
----------
Raymond Kynes, age fifty-one, former local resident and veteran of both World Wars I and II, was found dead in his room at the Ray Hotel in Indianapolis late Monday evening. He had been in failing health for several months and had been a patient in a hospital in Illinois.
He was born in 1896, the son of the late Frank and Edith Kynes, and resided for several years on E. Franklin St. in this city. He had resided in Indianapolis for several months.
Surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. John Kirkham, of this city, Mrs. Charles Buckley, of South Gate, Cal., and Charles Kynes, also of California.
Private funeral services will be held today at 1:00 p.m., at the Loren H. Murphy funeral home. Burial will be made in Forest Hill. Burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery.

Mr. Simeon Kynes of Union township, died this morning of a
complication of diseases, aged eighty-eight years. He was the grandfather of Mrs.
Richard Goodrich, of this city.
