Word has been received here announcing the death of Thomas Lackey, formerly a resident of this county, at his home in Chalk Mountain, Texas. He was a brother of Peter Lackey, east of this city.

Peter Lackey has received word that his brother, Thomas Lackey, of Green Mountain, Texas, died Sunday. The deceased was formerly a resident of this county, living on the Knightstown road.
