          Mariah V., wife of  William Leslie, died at their home in Brandywine township, one mile east of Fairland at 4 o’clock p.m. Monday, January 23, 1893, aged 38 years.  The remains were buried at Forest Hill cemetery Wednesday, January 25. Services at the Fairland Christian Church at 10 o’clock a.m. Rev. Tomlinson officiating.  D. B. Wilson & Son, funeral directors.
