          Jacob Linington, a soldier of the civil war, died at his home in Brandywine township, at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, of pneumonia, aged 64 years and 7 months.  He served in the war in Co. C., 75th Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry.  His wife survives him.  Funeral services will be held in the Center M. P. church at 10 o'clock a.m. Thursday, March 14, Rev. Stanton officiating.  Interment in the Center cemetery, in charge of Edwards & Hageman.
