Leonidas McAhren, 75, Passes Away
At Home In Indianapolis

BURIAL TO BE HERE

Leonidas H. McAhren, 75 years old, died at his home, 848 Sherman Drive, Indianapolis, at 6:10 p.m., yesterday,
after having been bedfast with pneumonia for about a week.
He was born in Shelby township, this county, May 1,
1853, and was the son of Robert
and Nellie McAhren.
He had lived in Indianapolis for several years. Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Flora McAhren, and 3 daughters; Mrs.
Nellie Teetor and Mrs. Ada Dustin, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Mabel Asher
of Detroit, Michigan. Eight grandchildren also survive. Mr. McAhren was a member of the local Chillon Lodge No. 129 of the Knights of Pythias, and also of the Pythian Sisters organization. The Knights of Pythias will participate in the funeral service. The body was brought to this city today to be prepared for burial by
Ralph J. Edwards, the funeral director in charge. The funeral service will be held in the First Baptist church
at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Rev. John W. Mofatt officiating. The interment will be in the City cemetery.
