McCOMB, CHARLES WOOD, 73, of Largo, died Friday (Sept. 29, 2000) at home. He came here from Bridgeport, Ind., and formerly owned and operated the Tee Pee Restaurants in Indianapolis. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the Ranchero Village Chapel, Largo.
Survivors include two sons, John, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Michael, Corpus Christi, Texas; four daughters, Kathryn Masto, California, Mary Ann Pena, Scottsdale, Renee Sgro, Martinsville, Ind., and Ronda Bandy, Mooresville, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Karen Dresel, Florida, and Glenna Reed, Tennessee; 20 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, Ind.

LARGO, Fla. -- Charles Wood McComb died Sept. 29 at his Largo, Fla., home. He was 73 and had formerly resided in Bridgeport. Mr. McComb was a U.S. Navy veteran and had formerly owned the Tee Pee Restaurants in Indianapolis. He was a member of Ranchero Village Chapel in Largo and Indianapolis Murat Shrine. He was a widower of Donna (Miller) McComb.
Survivors include sons John McComb of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Michael McComb of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Kathryn Masto of California, Mary Ann Pena of Scottsdale, Rene Sgro of Martinsville and Ronda Bandy of Mooresville; stepdaughters Glenna Reed of Tennessee and Karen Dresel of Florida; 2 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Graveside services were held Oct. 2 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast in Largo. Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield was in charge of arrangements.

LARGO, Fla. -- Donna M. (Miller) McComb, 64, died Feb. 1, 1998, at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Fla. She was a former Bridgeport, Ind. resident. McComb was married to Charles W. McComb. He survives. McComb was former co-owner with her husband of the Tee Pee Restaurant in Indianapolis until 1978. While in Florida she co-owned the Shalimar Motel in St. Petersburg for 14 years until 1995.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Glenna R. Reed of Germantown, Tenn. and Karen Dresel of Largo, Fla.; one sister, Dova Dooley of Largo, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Services were Feb. 5 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
