Terri Lynn McLaughlin, age 52, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2015. She was born in LaPorte, Indiana on July 12, 1963 to her mother, Marie McCall Hoops and her father, Gilbert Lee Hoops. She enjoyed reading her Bible and studying scripture and spending time with and caring for her family. She was a very loving, caring and giving person who always provided for others before herself. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her mother, her sister, Thelma Ellis and her brothers, Kenny and Robert Hoops. Terri is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Michael Anthony McLaughlin; her daughter, Angela Lamb (and husband, Mike); her father, her sisters, Diana Whaley, Shellie Hoops and Lori Hoops; and her brothers, Larry and David Hoops. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Thursday morning September 3, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and followed by services in Sterling-White Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562.
