          Wilbur Franklin McNicholas,  46, Marion, former Shelbyville resident, died at his home Saturday [December 19, 1987] following an extended illness.  A son of  Archie Willard and  Ruby Hattie (Rouse) McNicholas,  he was born in Shelbyville January 31, 1941.
          Surviving are his mother, Indianapolis; sisters,  Mrs. Richard (Bernita) Wilson,  Indianapolis, and  Mrs. William (Marilyn) VanCleave,  Franklin; half-sisters,  Mrs. Judy Hedden,  Indianapolis, and  Mrs. Austin (Marcella) Powell,  Carlisle, Ill.; a half-brother,  Russell Youngman,  Omaha, Neb.
          No services or calling will be held; a memorial service will be announced later.  Murphy Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
