Mrs. Edna A.
McQueary, 66, R.R.5, Shelbyville, died in Community Hospital in Indianapolis
at 5:30 a.m. Sunday. She had been ill since May 27 and was a patient at
Heritage House here prior to being hospitalized Oct. 30.
Services will be at the
Murphy Mortuary Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. James Horner will officiate
and burial will be in Hope Moravian Cemetery. Friends may call at the
mortuary at any time.
Mrs. McQueary was born in
Shelby County Feb. 4, 1904, the daughter of Dunham and Auda
(Bassett) Quick.
Surviving are thre
sons, Elmer Fisher, Henderson, Ky., Rex Fisher,
Russell Springs, Ky., and Omer Scrogan, Jr., Columbus; a daughter, Mrs.
Pauline Applegate, Shelbyville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ethel Finley,
Edinburgh; three sisters, Mrs. Everly Bollinger, Arizona, and
Mrs. Florence McKee and Mrs. Thelma Pentecost,
Franklin; and four brothers, Earl Quick, Edinburgh, Elmer
Quick, Greenwood, Pershing Quick, Franklin, and Carl
Quick, Indianapolis.
There are 23
grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A sister preceded in death.
