Dead in This City
----------
Mrs. Julia Mobley,
mother of Mrs. Albert Wright, of Noble township, died at the home
of her son-in-law, H. C. Funkhouser, at 2015 Broadway street,
Indianapolis, shortly before the noon hour today aged eighty years. She
had been ill for some time and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Mobley
has other relatives living in this county and was particularly well known at
Hartsville, as her husband, the late Prof. Mobley, was long connected
with Hartsville college, and the family made their home in that town for a
number of years. C. F. Fix, of the firm of Stewart & Fix, of this
city, was called to Indianapolis this afternoon to prepare the body for burial
and it will be brought to this city Friday morning. From here it will be
taken to Hartsville for the funeral services and burial. More definite
particulars regarding the funeral will be given later by Stewart & Fix.
